Simon Gordon as Esquivel in Bat Out Of Hell The Musical
Simon trained at Guildford School of Acting.
His theatrical credits include: Christian in Moulin Rouge (Secret Cinema Presents); Mark Antony in Julius Caesar; Young Soldier & Britt Craig in Parade (Dundee Repertory); Jimmy in Jimmy Mac (Gaiety Theatre); Billy (Lead) in King Pit (Sage Gateshead); Danny Zuko in Grease (Song Shop Productions); Prince Charming in Cinderella (Windsor Castle); Alex in Alba Nuadh (RADA).
He also played the lead Robbie and directed Twist and Turn (The Other Palace)

Television & Film: Himself in ITV's Superstar (Andrew Lloyd Webber ITV); Prince Naljin (Lead) in Roby and the Gates of Nargara (Cannes Film Festival); Kane (Lead) in Milk (Mice in Cream Productions).
Most recently he was performing in Girl From the North Country (Toronto/Gielgud Theatre, London)
He also is part of a band called The Songsmiths, along with fellow Bat Out Of Hell cast members Patrick Sullivan and Benjamin Purkiss. They recently released their debut album.

Simon Gordon played the role of Esquivel in Bat Out Of Hell The Musical. He joined the cast at the end of the original London run to replace Ruben van Keer as Esquivel and understudy Strat when the show moved to Toronto.
He continued in the role of Esquivel when the show returned to London at the Dominion theatre, and became an Alternate for Strat for the duration of the run, until the show closed on January 5, 2019.
