From London, Stuart originally trained in musical theatre at Mountview, and then went on to study acting in LA with Bernard Hiller, and stunt combat with Cloudio Pacifico, Italy. He trained as an operatic Tenor for over 10 years with Ian Baar and Carl Penlington-Williams.
Stuart began his professional career in the West End, singing lead roles in Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables and more, before moving into films such as Lord of the Rings, and Pirates of the Caribbean, as both actor and stuntman. He’s performed alongside screen legends like Jenny Agutter and Johnny Depp and most recently originated the title role in Resort World Sentosa’s multi-million dollar production; The Lightseeker.
Stuart’s Opera career began 2011 as Alfredo in La Traviata, and has seen performances of Florestan in Fidelio with ETO, Cassio in Otello, and Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, before touring a solo cabaret around China in 2013. He has just finished travelling the world as lead vocalist in two exciting productions: Viva Voce, a powerful classical-crossover group and Disney in Concert, which played with some of the biggest orchestras around Europe.
He also spent time training in Shaolin Kung Fu at the Kunyu Mountains Temple in China, and continues to train in the UK in a variety of physical skills, including martial arts, rock climbing, scuba diving, gymnastics, trampolining, horse riding and more, hoping to join the British stunt register in 2017.
